After graduating from Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School (2009), he completed his law degree at Istanbul University Faculty of Law (2014). During his undergraduate studies, he spent one academic year at Adam Mickiewicz University Faculty of Law in Poznań, Poland, as an Erasmus scholar.
He completed his LL.M. in Private Law at Galatasaray University with a thesis titled “Compulsory Liability Insurance in Carriage of Passengers by Sea under the 2002 Athens Convention” (2018). The thesis was published as a book in the same year.
Between 2016 and 2023, he served as a research assistant at Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law, Department of Maritime Law and Insurance Law, where he contributed to the teaching of Maritime Law and Insurance Law courses.
He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Private Law at Kadir Has University. He has published articles, book chapters, and translations in the fields of maritime law and insurance law. In this scope, he is a co-author of the book containing the English translation of the provisions on maritime law under the Turkish Commercial Code (2024).
He speaks English and Polish fluently, and German at an intermediate level.
