He graduated from Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School in 2009 and Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2014. He spent one year of his undergraduate studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland as part of the Erasmus Exchange Programme. In 2018, he completed his LL.M. degree in private law at Galatasaray University Institute of Social Sciences with the thesis titled “Compulsory Liability Insurance for Carriage of Passengers by Sea under the 2002 Athens Convention”. In the same year this study was published as a book.
Between 2016-2023, he worked as research assistant at Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law, Department of Maritime Law and Insurance Law.
He is currently working on his thesis at the Private Law Ph.D. Programme under Kadir Has University School of Graduate Studies. He is fluent in English and Polish and has intermediate knowledge of German.
He has publications including articles, a book chapter and a translation on maritime law and insurance law.
